Disable Disabilities With Art show - 4/13/13

Artists Working Together (ACT) is a non-profit organization working to empower and support artists with disabilities.

The goals of the organization dovetail beautifully with Heartside Art Studio and Gallery, which provides a safe place for neighborhood artists every weekday and provides encouragement and an avenue for the artists to sell their work to the public.

ACT holds an annual show featuring work from many artists in the area, and work of Heartside artists is always well-represented. This year was no exception.
Some Heartside artists and staff attended Friday night's opening.

This show will be on display at 1140 Monroe until April 19, but you can view fantastic art
by Annette and other local artists any week day at Heartside Art Studio and Gallery,
48 S. Division. Stop in and support the creative work of these artists, many of whom support themselves solely on sales from the studio.
